Family and newborn photos

Finally  just got Olivia's newborn pictures back, we took them at 2 weeks and she is now 11 weeks old.  I love the photos, but the photographers turn around time was a bit ridiculous!  I need to get new pictures taken again soon, since she is not a newborn anymore!

Kitty & Olivia

As most of you know our cat "Kitty" can by a terror.  He stayed far away from Olivia for the 1st couple months he seemed terrified of her, but now he is warming up a bit :)  I think he just loves her crib, so he will tolerate the baby if he can take a little nap in it.  Of course I keep a close eye on him at all times :)  I usually wouldn't let hime sleep with her, but I was in the room and it was too cute so I had to take some pictures!!

Our weekend get away to Vail

Olivia made her first trip to the mountains this weekend.  Our good friends Jeff & Carrie got married up in Vail at the Donovan Pavillion.  We stayed Thursday night through Sunday afternoon.  It was a wonderful weekend of love :)  Lots of family, friends and good times.  The wedding was on Friday and was just beautiful~  we are so happy for the new Mr & Mrs VanDerHule! 

Olivia was so good and everyone just loved her!  She slept her 1st 6 hour stint through the night twice!!  I was so exited- I must have worn her out dancing at the wedding.  I put her in the baby Bjorn and danced the night away with her :)

A whole new world!

Olivia got her hearing aids yesterday at 9 weeks old.  It was such an amazing day!!  It has been so fun to she her take in all the new sounds.  Olivia seems so happy with her new world of sound- she is more resposive now with our voices, her own voice, toys and all the noises she can now hear :)  We are so happy for her! For me and Nick it is amazing to now know she can hear us when we talk to her and she will now know our voices :) We will keep you all posted on her growth and how she continues to respond to her new life with her hearing aids :)  You probably will notice she will almost always have a head band on- not only do I love accessorizing our little doll, but the headband helps keep her hearing aids in place-dual purpose!!

2 months old :)

Olivia is 2 months old already.   Here is her just born, 1 month and 2 month photos shoots :)  It's been amazing watching her grow!
